These are the best makeup products to buy, in my opinion, which I’ve purchased for the month of March.
Whether high-end, mid-end or low-end, we always want to make the best purchases. Getting our money’s worth is very important.
I don’t restrict myself to a certain makeup brand, although I have favorites. But even then, I still strive to buy the best in the market.

CHANEL ARTHUR ROUGE COCO
At the top of the list is Chanel Arthur, which is the best lipstick I’ve bought last month. It’s the star shade of the newly reformulated Rouge Coco Collection for a reason. You get really gorgeous lip color without sacrificing comfort. The new formula is very much moisturizing as compared to the old Rouge Coco. They’re even more hydrating than some of the Rouge Coco Shines I’ve tried.
Arthur lipstick is not listed as Limited Edition, so I can always buy a new one once I’ve used this up.

CHANEL ETIENNE ROUGE COCO
I wouln’t have bought Chanel Etienne lipstick if I hadn’t seen pictures of Keira Knightley wearing it at the recent Golden Globes. It looks really pretty on her even though she only wore it as sort of a lip stain.
Even when worn fully on the lips, Etienne Rouge Coco is still very gorgeous. Its luminous finish looks really pretty on the lips, too. I prefer using it as a lip stain, though. Just like how it was made famous by Keira Knightley.

CHANEL ROUSSY ROUGE COCO
I know, I know! I’m such an addict for Chanel. But I still do choose which ones to buy. I don’t just blindly buy everything just because I love the brand. I really hate it when I buy something only to find out that its quality is not up to par.
With Chanel Roussy, I thought it would be really bright on the lips. But it isn’t so. In fact, it’s a very wearable medium pink that is great for everyday use. Although it’s cool-toned, it doesn’t clash with my yellow undertone at all. I love it, too. But I might also get some more of the pink shades from the new Rouge Coco collection.
But for now, I’m extremely happy with Roussy, and it’s definitely one of the best makeup products I’ve purchased last month.

CHANEL CRESCENDO 250 JOUES CONTRASTE BLUSH
This is my favorite item from the La Perle de Chanel Collection released for Spring 2015. Although Chanel Crescendo blush a bit powdery in texture, the pretty pink shade more than compensates for it. With proper blending, the blush still adheres to the cheeks without looking too chalky. It gives a luminous satin finish that is very lovely on the cheeks.
I’m pretty sure that it’ll be easy to find a dupe for it. When worn on my cheeks, it even looks like some of the blushes I own. However, I still feel that it’s a great addition to my collection because it’s a blush that I can use everyday, plus it’s Chanel.

BIODERMA SENSIBIO H20
I’ve been through a lot of makeup removers but nothing comes close to Bioderma Sensibio H20. If there is a better makeup remover which you’ve tried, please feel free to leave a comment below and I will check it out.
I’m always on the lookout for the Holy Grail, best makeup products out there. But for now, I’m very much happy with Sensibio H20.

MAKE UP FOR EVER HD FOUNDATION
This is actually my second bottle of Make Up For Ever HD Foundation. I first bought it around 2013, I think. During the first few uses, my skin broke out. So I stopped using it for a few days.
Then, when I finally used it again, it didn’t cause me any pimples anymore. I guess my skin got used to it! But during those years, I only used it for special occasions. I only used BB creams for normal days.
So it was only recently that I used up my first bottle of MUFE HD foundation. But when I repurchased it, I got a different shade, 120, which oxidizes on me. But it still works even though it’s a tad darker than my normal skintone. In the summer, I’m sure it will suit me better.

I bought Make Up For Ever HD foundation for around Php2,500 (I can’t remember it’s exact price) from the Make Up For Ever store in Greenbelt 3. It’s also available for $43 at Sephora if you want to buy this HG foundation, too.

LANEIGE K-SECRET CUSHION TINT
JOY PINK
I am such a fan of Asian Beauty products, especially Korean and Japanese brands. Laneige is one of my favorite Korean brands, not just for their makeup, but primarily for their skincare products.
They don’t have a vast makeup collection, but I really liked the ones I’ve tried. Laneige K-Secret Cushion Tint is no exception. Aside from the fact that it comes with a cushion applicator tip, the lip color itself does not disappoint. It’s fairly long lasting, and the available colors are really beautiful.
The shade I bought, Joy Pink, is lovely on the lips, whether used for gradation lips or full-on lip color. I bought it from Laneige in Robinsons Manila for Php750. These Laneige Cushion Tints are very similar to the Aritaum Wannabe Cushion Tints which are sold for around $7.50. Both Laneige and Aritaum are under the great Korean brand, AmorePacific.
