Easy Makeup Looks For Date Night

Natural looking makeup has been the trend since a few years ago. For date nights, you might want to choose from easy makeup looks that are naturally gorgeous. Instead of applying heavy makeup which takes a lot of time, don’t you prefer to do it light, simple, and fast? Especially if you’ve just gotten home from work and need to get ready for your date in 30 minutes or less.

I’ve put together some tutorials of gorgeous makeup looks that you can re-create for your date night. They are easy, simple yet beautiful.

EASY MAKEUP LOOKS FOR DATE NIGHTS

Before applying any makeup, make sure that your skin is clean, toned and well-moisturized. If you’re going to go out during the day, you should also apply an appropriate amount of sunscreen on your face and neck.

Use Chanel Les Beiges Poudre Belle Mine Naturelle to even out your complexion. You can use Chanel Retractable Kabuki brush instead of a powder brush if you need more coverage.

Then, to add some color on your cheeks, use the sand and red shades from the Chanel Coco Code Blush Harmony. First mix the two shades in your blush brush, then apply it gently on your cheekbones.

Frame your eyes by defining your eyebrows using the Chanel Le Crayon Sourcils Brun Naturel.

To accentuate the eyes, use Chanel Les 4 Ombres Codes Subtils eyeshadow palette. Using a blending brush, apply the 3 lighter shades from the eyeshadow quad on your eyelids. Then, gently apply the dark khaki shade on the roots of your bottom lashes and blend it out.

Apply Chanel Inimitable Mascara Noir on your eyelashes to make your eyes appear more open.

Finish the look by painting your lips with Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Noir Moderne for a subtle plum color with elegant shine. Because Rouge Coco Shines are on the sheer side, you can use another lipstick of your choice as a base before applying Noir Moderne. Be creative with it! If you want your lips to stand out, you can use a bright shade underneath it.

For the nails, use Chanel Le Vernis Rouge Red and top it with Chanel Le Gel Coat.

If you don’t have any of the above makeup products, you can purchase them here.

This is another makeup look from Chanel that you can wear for your date. It will bring the attention to your eyes. Plus, the lipstick used here is just divine. It’s even better than the Chanel La Flamboyante lipstick which we all loved!

Once you’ve applied foundation and/or powder, enhance your complexion with Chanel Coco Code Harmonie de Blush. Using the accompanying brush, mix all the shades and apply to your cheekbones.

After bringing color to your face, define your eyebrows. Brush and fill in your brows with the Chanel Le Crayon Sourcils Brun Naturel.

Using a blending brush, mix the gold and bronze shades from the Chanel Les 4 Ombres Codes Elegants eyeshadow quad and apply on your eyelids. Highlight the inner corner of your eyes using the lightest shade from the said palette.

Apply Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof Noir Pétrole eyeliner on your upper lash line to enhance and perfect your eye shape. Wing it a little and bring down to the outer half of your lower lashline.

To open up your eyes more, apply Chanel Le Volume de Chanel Noir on your upper and lower lashes.

Brighten up your face by dressing your lips in Chanel Rouge Allure Independante using a lip brush. In the video, the lip brush used was Chanel Pinceau Levres Retractable.

Complete the look by applying Chanel Le Vernis Blanc White on your nails and top it with 2 coats of Chanel Le Top Coat Black Metamorphosis.

GET THE CLEAR ROSE COLOR MAKEUP LOOK

Here’s another simple makeup look that can easily be done by anyone. As you can see, it will give you a pure and innocent look. The pop of bright red on the lips makes this look even prettier.

The first step in this clear rose color makeup look is to prime your skin with Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser. Starting with primer makes sure that you have a smooth canvas to work on. Apply at the center of your face and bring outwards.

Then follow with a peachy makeup base like RMK Control Color #01 Silver. It will brighten up your complexion and make dull skin tones appear fresh and translucent. Aside from neutralizing darkness, it can also conceal dark, undereye circles.

But if you want to neutralize redness or even out blotchy skin, you can use green makeup base instead. Or a purple makeup base to cover up yellowness or sallowness. A yellow base is for neutralizing mild redness and for canceling out signs of fatigue.

Once you’re done with color correction, or if you skipped the primer and makeup base because you already have good skin, you can now proceed with foundation.

Use a thin foundation like Lancome Teint Miracle Natural Light Creator SPF 15 (the shade used, #O-01, is for yellow-toned gals with light skintone). You can use a foundation brush to prevent it from looking too thick.

Apply the foundation to your cheeks, forehead, and chin. Then, hold your brush at an angle of around 45 degrees and quickly spread it.

By spreading thinner amounts as you approach the outer areas of the face, you can achieve a more three-dimensional and natural look.

I know how frustrating it is to have brush marks after spreading out the foundation, so you need to be slow and careful about preventing brush marks from the beginning.

Remember that this foundation can quickly dry. If this happens, it can look cakey. What you can do is spread it quickly at first, and afterwards, you can blend in the brush marks.

Or, you can use a Beauty Blender to apply it instead of a foundation brush. Don’t forget to apply foundation on your neck as well!

Use Clio Kill Cover Artist Pot Concealer (#BP is the shade used in the tutorial) on your dark, undereye circles. Also apply it to cover redness around the nose, as well as to hide blemishes and other imperfections.

To finish up the base makeup, apply DSB Original Snow Pact (#21 for light skin with yellow undertones) powder to the areas where you need it. Especially on areas where makeup tend to slide off easily like around the eyes.

For the eyebrows, Shiseido Natural Eyebrow Pencil #GY901 was used in the tutorial. But you can use a shade of your choice. Just make sure to create natural and soft-looking eyebrows.

Use Clio Pro Single Shadow #S31, which is a pearly ivory shade, on your eyelids. Then, contour the eyes using BBIA Shade & Shadow #09, a contour shadow with extremely fine sparkles.

For the eyeliner, use a brown pencil like Innisfree Always New Auto Liner #4. It is called ‘click eyeliner’ for a reason. If you’re curious about that reason, you can find out once you watch the video.

Curl your lashes using Etude House Eyelash Curler and apply false lashes like Eyeme Eye Lashes #20. Then, coat your natural and false lashes with Rimmel ScandalEyes XX-Treme Mascara.

Be careful not to apply too much as it can get clumpy. The next step is to draw fake lower lashes using a brown liquid eyeliner like Eglips Easy Quick Brush Pen Liner in Dark Brown. If you are not comfortable using falsies, then you can simply coat your lashes with mascara.

You can skip using a blush for your cheeks, and instead, use Lancome L’Absolu Rouge #256 Garden Rose for both your lips and cheeks. Then, top your lips with a clear gloss like Make Up For Ever Artist Plexi Gloss #0.

The makeup look in this next video is still not overly done, although it requires more product than the first 3 videos. Here, you will be drawing attention to your eyes.

If you have a double eyelid, you can skip the first step of this tutorial. However, for those with monolids, you might want to follow the first step which is for creating double eyelids.

When you don’t have a double eyelid tape on hand, one makeup hack for creating double eyelids is to use false eyelash adhesive instead.

So if you don’t have the right tool, but you do have a false eyelash adhesive in your stash, watch the video so you can learn how to improvise.

You can fake double eyelids using Aritaum Idol Lash Adhesive. Then, cover up the adhesive using Etude House Look At My Eyes BR401, or a shade that is close to your skin tone. Another reason why this step is important is to get rid of extra stickiness from the adhesive. One tip in making the double eyelid look flawless is to use a primer like Benefit The Professional to get rid of the white glue residue.

After finishing the fake double eyelids, you can proceed to the next step.

To prep your face, you can use a makeup base like Tony Moly Delight Baby Doll Make Up Base in 02 Clear Lavender. The purpose of this step is to make your face pale and translucent.

For the foundation, use Etude House Berry Delicious Precious Mineral Any Cushion in the shade closest to your skin tone. In the video tutorial, Light Beige was used. Benefit Fake Up 01 Light was used to cover up dark undereye circles and Clio Kill Cover Pro Artist Stick Concealer 03 BY Linen to conceal blemishes. You can use shades that are appropriate for your skin tone.

To contour your nose, you can use Memebox X Pony Shine Easy Glam 1. You can also use it to make the double eyelid look more natural. You can skip this step if you’re not comfortable with contouring. However, if you are going for a chiseled look, make sure not to overdo it. Sometimes, a heavily-contoured face can seem fake and not look good.

Define your eyebrows using Holika Holika Wonder Drawing Skinny Eyebrow. You can use the shade #02 Dark Brown if you have dark brown hair. Otherwise, you might want to use a shade that is a little bit lighter than your hair color.

Use Taupe, Slate and Black shades from the Lorac Pro Palette 1 for your eyelids. Then define your upper lashline with Tony Moly Backstage Gel Eyeliner #01 Black and wing it. Use Missha Waterproof Drawing Eye Pencil in Midnight Dream for the outer half of your lower lashline and smudge it. Don’t forget to connect it to the wing of your eyeliner.

To make your eyes look brighter, fill in your waterline with Etude House Play 101 Pencil #08. Also apply Eglips Stick Shadow #05 Beech on the inner half of your lower lashline and also on the inner corner of your eyes.

If are not used to wearing false eyelashes, then you can skip this step. But if you are, or want to start using them, then you can try Nature Republic Beauty Tool Eyelash #05 Full Volume & Wing. You may need to cut it depending on the size of your eyes. You can attach it using Duo Eyelash Adhesive Dark Tone or whatever eyelash glue you have in your makeup stash.

Draw a few fake lower lashes using BBIA Last Pen Eyeliner in Sharpen Brown. You can also use this liquid eyeliner to draw over the eyelash glue. Make sure that the glue is already dry before drawing over it.

To finish the eye makeup, apply Peripera Wholly Deep Mascara #03 on both your upper and lower lashes. Remember that it’s important to apply mascara on the lower lashes as well, so as to make the drawn-on lashes look more natural.

After applying eye makeup, now’s the time to apply powder. Using a powder blush, apply SkinFood Green Grape Fresh Light Pact (#13 Light Beige for light skin with yellow undertones) by gently tapping from the center of the face and towards the outer edge.

Fake a healthy glow using a bronzer like Benefit Hoola and color your cheekbones with a cool-toned blush like MAC Powder Blush in Dame. Make sure to blend it with the bronzer.

Then, highlight your nose, chin and the high points of your face with Laura Mercier Satin Highlighter. In the tutorial video, Pony applied it using her fingers because she couldn’t find her brush.

I’ve also experienced this before when I didn’t have a clean highlighter brush to use. If you’re also going to use your fingers to apply highlighter, make sure to apply it lightly and gently so it wouldn’t look harsh.

Because the eye makeup is already kind of fierce, go for a shade of lipstick that is close to your natural lip color. In the video, the coral shade Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Double Dare was used because it was close to her natural lip color once applied.
